Last year marked our comeback edition after a three-year hiatus. We welcomed over 220 attendees who gained insights from five invited speakers discussing design for change, branding and identity, and typography. We believe that ongoing conversations about design and its impact on daily life are essential for building a better future together. Design serves as both a cultural marker and a window for outsiders, sparking discussions about regional creative practices. While celebrating these local characteristics, we also emphasize the importance of maintaining balance and thriving within national and global markets.

Jad Maza is a type designer from Iloilo. Sparked by a passion project, his type design practice focuses on developing fonts for Latin and Baybayin scripts and explores what more type design can look like in the Philippines' context.
